Another strong year for the Chinese equipment market

A second year of robust growth has re-established China as the largest construction equipment market in the world.


Indian equipment market hits record high

Sales of construction equipment including mobile cranes grew 35 per cent in India last year. It was the third successive year of robust growth, and took the market to a record high of 98,204 units. This level of demand was some 44 per cent above the previous market high, seen in 2011.


International, Chinese and Indian Database Services updated

More than 6,000 data points have been added or updated across our system, including final sales and production figures for 2018 and forecasts to 2023.


European equipment market highest for a decade

Construction equipment sales in Europe last year hit their highest level for a decade, according to Off-Highway Research’s newly updated International Database Service. Sales rose 10 per cent to 177,694 units.
