The program for the Off-Highway Conference has been published at www.offhighwayconference.com. The one-day, in-person event will take place on 28th September in Rosemont (Chicago), US.

The first session on markets will include speakers from Off-Highway Research, along with world-renowned construction economist, Scott Hazelton from IHS Market.

The second morning session will focus on supply chain challenges, and will open with a presentation by Dr Wilfried Aulber from the event’s knowledge partner, consultant Roland Berger. The company has conducted significant research into both the current and likely future landscape for supply chains and will deliver a thought-provoking assessment of how the industry needs to change to be reliable and resilient.

The presentation will be followed by a discussion with a panel of experts from the industry including Cummins Executive Director, Eric Neal, representing the views of components suppliers, Flavio Batista from shipping and logistics company Wallenius Wilhelmsen and Ken Taylor, who is president of the Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) trade association as well as president of one of the largest dealers in North America, Ohio CAT.

In the afternoon session, the conference will return to the market situation, with an in-depth look at North America. Off-Highway Research’s outlook for new equipment sales will be complemented by Doug Rusch, Managing Director of Rouse Services, who will provide insights from the used equipment market.

The final conference session will focus on alternative energy sources for construction equipment, with a presentation by global expert Alex Woodrow, Managing Director of KGP Commercial Powertrain Intelligence.
