Electric equipment report updated

Off-Highway Research has published the 2025 edition of its report on the global market for electric construction equipment. The update of the 2024 report sees wide bodied trucks added to the existing coverage compact tracked loaders, crawler excavators, mini excavators, telescopic handlers, wheeled excavators and wheeled loaders, while a regional section has been added on the Indian market.

Last year more than 18,000 pieces of electric construction equipment were sold around the world, a 110 per cent increase on the previous year. China continued to dominate, accounting for almost 80 per cent of sales (and more than 90 per cent of production) of electric equipment, and there as also growth in many emerging markets.

The 58 page report discusses the development of regional markets for electric construction equipment, building to a global overall picture. Five-year forecasts are a feature of the report, as is detailed discussion and analysis on the basis for those forecasts.
