New studies on French and UK telehandler industries published

By Chris Sleight |  12 October 2022

Subscribers to Off-Highway Research’s European Service can now access new reports on the rough terrain lift truck (RTLT) industries in both France and the UK, studies which predominantly focus on telehandlers. A similar study on Italy was published earlier in the year.

France and UK combined account for more than 57 per cent of all telehandler sales in Europe and are comfortably the largest markets in the region. They are also two of the most important manufacturing bases, representing 60 per cent of European telehandler production.

Both reports examine the market for telehandlers on an overall basis, in terms of market share, machine size (based on lift height) and by end users. They also look at the emergence of fully slewing roto telehandlers. Further sections look at production by OEM and foreign trade.

As with all Off-Highway Research reports and databases, a five-year forecast is included giving the outlook for sales and discussion of the factors which will influence this.

Both reports are now available to subscribers to Off-Highway Research’s Indian Service. They can also be bought on our online store. Click here for details.
