Global management consultancy Roland Berger has partnered with specialist market research and forecasting company Off-Highway Research to be the Knowledge Partner for the forthcoming Off-Highway Conference, which will be held in Chicago on 28th September 2022.

The Off-Highway Conference (www.offhighwayconference.com), organized by Off-Highway Research, will provide deep insights into the outlook for construction equipment markets worldwide, and will also explore key issues facing the industry including alternative energy sources and issues around supply chains and logistics in the face of record demand.

Roland Berger’s participation as Knowledge Partner is a comprehensive agreement encompassing conference content, promotion and a supporting White Paper. Specifically, Roland Berger will provide detailed insights in the conference session on supply chain issues, which is a particular area of expertise for the consultancy.

Dr Wilfried Aulbur, Senior Partner at Roland Berger said, “The current climate of component scarcity, supply disruption and transportation bottlenecks has already had a profound impact on the availability and supply of manufactured goods around the world. The heavy equipment industry is no exception, as witnessed by long lead times for new equipment and rising prices associated for production and transportation. We will present an analysis of the global situation in the Off-Highway Conference, and, perhaps most importantly, discuss the on-going and future impacts for supply chains, which we believe will be profound and long-term.”

Chris Sleight, Managing Director of Off-Highway Research said, “The on-going disruption to the construction equipment industry’s supply chains is unprecedented. It is an area where the industry desperately needs clarity for the future, and the issues potentially raises questions about the future fitness for purpose of the global supply model and lean approaches to inventory. I am delighted that Roland Berger has chosen to partner with us. Its work in this area is unparalleled and I believe the consultancy’s deep involvement in the conference will deliver unique and insightful content for attendees.”

The Off-Highway Conference takes place at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel, Rosemont, IL on 28th September 2022. Full details of the speakers, program and booking options are available at www.offhighwayconference.com
