Special Report on South Africa to be published this year

By Chris Sleight |  29 March 2019

Off-Highway Research will publish a new Special Report on the construction equipment industry in South Africa in September 2019. Ranging in length from 150-350 pages, Off-Highway Research’s Special Reports are based on lengthy periods of field research and are regarded as the most comprehensive and wide-ranging studies available.

It has been 20 years since Off-Highway Research last published a study on an African market, and the decision to return to this continent has come at the request of numerous clients. The study will be produced in co-operation with the South African Construction and Mining Equipment Suppliers’ Association (CONMESA).

Off-Highway Research managing director Chris Sleight said, “After so many requests from clients, we are delighted to go ahead with our first study in Africa for two decades. South Africa is by far the largest market on the continent, and we have the perfect partner in CONMESA and its secretariat company Agfacts. In addition, we can bring in knowledge that we have in-house, particularly from our Beijing office, as South Africa is a high-priority export market for many Chinese OEMs.”

The Construction Equipment Industry in South Africa will be available in September 2019 and can be ordered in advance from www.offhighway-store.com. Click here for more information or click here to download the brochure.
