Off-Highway Research has published a Special Report on the construction equipment industry in Brazil. The country accounts for two thirds of construction equipment sales in South America and the continent’s entire production of equipment.

At 224 pages, the report is believed to be the most comprehensive study ever published on the industry in Brazil. It provides analysis of sales and production across 15 equipment types, with data covering market size & trends, market shares, sales by size class and a five-year demand forecast. The report also includes comprehensive profiles of the major construction equipment manufacturers and distributors active in Brazil.

Publication of the study comes at a time when the Brazilian industry is on a high. Sales have grown sharply in the last four years thanks to infrastructure investment measures and the stimulus plans put in place following the Covid pandemic. This took equipment sales to a record high in 2022.

The forecast for Brazil is also positive, thanks to high global commodity prices continuing to encourage investment in the mining, oil & gas industries, while the government continues to invest in infrastructure and housing.
