Market update at the CECE Congress

Attendees to this year’s CECE Congress in London can benefit from an update on the state of global construction equipment markets, given by Off-Highway Research managing director, Chris Sleight, as part of the Economic Forum section of the programme. The event is being held from 27th-29th October.

CECE, The Committee for European Construction Equipment, is the European umbrella organisation for the national construction equipment trade associations. It represents the industry at a regional level, and the event attracts senior industry executives from Europe and beyond.

CECE president, Phil Layton said, “Join us in London for CECE Congress 2026. The Congress will bring together leaders, experts and stakeholders to exchange perspectives on trends and developments shaping our sector. Through open discussion and shared experience, we will explore how innovation, people and organisations are adapting to change and creating new opportunities for the future.

“Our programme will take place in inspiring settings: IET London – Savoy Place will host the Congress sessions, while a distinctive Congress Gala Dinner on the River Thames will provide a memorable environment to continue conversations and build connections.”
